SNAG Conference x Queer Metalsmiths In Focus 2024 Panel Discussion

Society of North American Goldsmiths x Queer Metalsmiths
LGBTQIA+/BIPOC Digital Exhibition + Discussion

Queer Metalsmiths partnered with SNAG (Society of North American Goldsmiths) for the 2024 In Focus exhibition, which was showcased digitally during the SNAG x San Diego conference and virtually both on the SNAG website and on the QM website.

This collaborative initiative aims to spotlight BIPOC and/or 2SLGBTQIA+ artists from marginalized communities who represent the future of the metalsmithing and jewelry field, with submissions from artists working in all materials, aesthetics, levels of experience, and backgrounds.

During the conference, Queer Metalsmiths co-founder Tracey Carswell (they/them) joined In Focus participants Isabella Clark (they/she), Diane Morales (she/they), and Mercede Sheybani (she/her) for a special panel discussion on June 6th on the main stage.
