Feeling Accepted in Chest Cancer Care as a Nonbinary Person: ‘I Could Just Show Up as Myself’

Everyday Health

As a kid, Tracey Carswell (they/them) always felt a little different. But they didn’t have the language to explain how or why until they tried on the term “nonbinary” and started using they/them pronouns. Finally, it felt like the right fit.

The following is a video transcript that has been edited for clarity.
